Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive - Private Family - Exeter - NQ-3 Years PQE
Location: Exeter (Hybrid)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £45,000 to £65,000 (DOE)

A leading South West law firm is seeking a Newly Qualified to 3 Years PQE Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its busy and well regarded Private Family team in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a supportive, collaborative and Legal 500 recognised department.

The Role
You'll work on a broad range of privately funded family matters, including:

  • Divorce and separation
  • Financial remedy proceedings
  • TOLATA and Schedule 1 Children Act disputes
  • Child arrangements matters
  • Urgent injunctions
  • Providing clear, empathetic and commercially aware advice
  • Managing your own caseload with support from experienced colleagues


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a solicitor or legal executive with:

  • NQ-3 years' PQE in family law
  • Genuine interest and experience in private family work
  • Strong communication and client care skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a close knit team
  • Confidence to work independently when required
  • A personable, driven and enthusiastic approach
