Chadwick Nott was founded in Bristol in 1992, and we now have offices in major cities throughout England, including London, Bristol and Reading in the south, our Birmingham office and Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds in the north. This range of locations means we can offer opportunities for jobs in the legal profession across the UK. Additionally, we have a team of consultants who specialise in international legal jobs, recruiting for positions overseas including Europe, the Caribbean and the Middle East.

Many of our consultants have been with the company for 10 years or more and all come from a relevant legal background. Some are qualified lawyers, others have worked in legal jobs themselves and many have prior legal recruitment experience. The knowledge of our consultants and the combined expertise of our teams means we always offer a high level of service to clients and candidates to assist in any legal job search and placement.

We place candidates in all types of legal jobs with companies and organisations of varying sizes, covering a wide range of industries.

  • In private practice we work with boutique law firms and niche law offices as well as national and major US and global law firms. We find jobs for Trainee Solicitors, NQ Solicitors, Associates, Partners, Legal Directors, Legal Executives, Paralegals and Legal Assistants.
  • Our in house team specialises in placing candidates in General Counsel jobs and positions such as Legal Counsel, Document Review Lawyer or Company Secretary. These legal jobs could be within start-up companies and SMEs or larger PLCs and global blue-chip companies. Our clients include financial institutions, media networks, production companies, motor corporations and pharmaceutical businesses among many others.
  • In the public sector we often place candidates in interim legal jobs, which can be short-term or longer on-going contracts. Positions as a solicitor, Legal Assistant, General Counsel or Paralegal may be within entities such as local or central government departments, constabularies, housing associations, universities, charities or the NHS.
