Solicitor - Serious Injury - Bristol - 2-6 Years PQE
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £55,000 to £80,000 (DOE)

A respected law firm is seeking a Serious Injury Lawyer with 2-6 years' post qualification experience to join its growing team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on some of the most high profile and life changing cases in the UK, supporting clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries including serious orthopaedic trauma, brain and spinal injuries, amputations and fatalities. You will have the autonomy to manage intermediate and multi track matters, with opportunities to assist on complex, high value catastrophic cases.

The Role
You'll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of serious injury matters, including:

  • Handling higher value personal injury cases with a focus on early intervention and rehabilitation
  • Managing intermediate and multi track claims with autonomy
  • Assisting senior lawyers on catastrophic injury cases
  • Regular client contact, including face to face meetings and Court visits
  • Liaising with medical experts, Counsel and other professionals
  • Progressing cases proactively and meeting litigation deadlines
  • Valuing quantum and negotiating effective settlements
  • Using the firm's in house case management system
  • Keeping up to date with legal and regulatory developments
  • Supporting a friendly, sociable and collaborative team culture


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified lawyer (Solicitor or Legal Executive) with:

  • 2-6 years' experience in Serious Injury / Personal Injury
  • Experience handling higher value or complex cases
  • Excellent client care skills and a compassionate approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A proactive, organised and motivated mindset
  • Confidence managing matters independently
  • Strong litigation experience and ability to meet Court deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
