Solicitor - Real Estate - Cardiff - 2 Years PQE
Location: Cardiff
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £55,000 - £75,000

A leading UK law firm is seeking a Real Estate Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' post qualification experience to join its highly regarded and fast growing Real Estate team in Cardiff. The Role
You'll be responsible for supporting partners and senior lawyers across a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including:

  • Acquisitions and disposals
  • Leasing and landlord/tenant matters
  • Development and regeneration projects
  • Property finance transactions
  • Preparing and managing Land Registry applications and correspondence
  • Drafting engrossments and transactional documentation under supervision
  • Assisting with CPSEs and wider due diligence
  • Supporting post completion processes, including SDLT/LTT filings and requisitions
  • Managing priority searches, undertakings and transaction records
  • Preparing documentation for data rooms and client reporting
  • Maintaining and updating precedents, checklists and internal templates
  • Supporting compliance, conflict checks and client onboarding processes


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • Minimum 2 years PQE in commercial real estate
  • Experience gained at a City, national or strong regional firm
  • Exposure to advising developers, landlords, tenants, investors and occupiers
  • Strong drafting, analytical and legal research skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • A proactive, organised and commercially aware approach
  • Confidence working collaboratively within a busy team environment
  • Willingness to support trainees and junior colleagues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal IT systems
