Solicitor - Property Litigation - Bristol - 3+ Years PQE
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £55,000 to £75,000 (DOE)

A respected law firm is seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor with 3+ years' post qualification experience to join its established Disputes team in Bristol. While the firm is open to considering strong Commercial Disputes Solicitors, the ideal candidate will bring solid experience in Property Litigation and a confident, proactive approach to managing contentious real estate matters.

The Role
You'll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of property related disputes, including:

  • Landlord and tenant disputes, including forfeiture, arrears, dilapidations and possession matters
  • Boundary issues, rights of way, easements and restrictive covenant disputes
  • Title, ownership and property related professional negligence claims
  • Advising commercial clients, landlords, tenants and managing agents across a range of sectors
  • Drafting pleadings, applications, witness evidence and correspondence
  • Managing matters through negotiation, ADR and court proceedings
  • Liaising with clients, Counsel, experts and other professionals
  • Supporting wider Commercial Disputes work where required
  • Contributing to business development and client relationship activity


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • 3+ years' PQE in Property Litigation (or strong Commercial Disputes experience with clear transferable skills)
  • Strong technical knowledge of contentious real estate matters
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
  • Confidence managing matters independently with appropriate supervision
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • A proactive, client focused approach with the ability to manage multiple matters
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal IT systems
