A leading regional law firm is seeking a Solicitor, Associate or Partner to join its growing Lifetime Planning team in Stroud. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a modern, relationship led Private Client offering within a forward thinking, people first practice.
About the Role
The Lifetime Planning team advises individuals, families and business owners on Wills, trusts, LPAs, succession planning and wider lifetime and wealth planning matters. The work is advisory led, forward looking and centred around helping clients make confident, informed decisions about their future.
You'll be part of a specialist practice that has evolved to meet increasingly complex personal, financial and family needs. The focus is on high quality, relationship driven legal services rather than volume work, with an emphasis on trust, clarity and exceptional client care.
What You'll Be Doing
Depending on your level of experience, your role may include:
- Advising on Wills, trusts and LPAs
- Supporting succession and estate planning matters
- Proactively identifying clients' underlying needs, risks and objectives
- Building strong relationships with clients and referrers
- Networking and business development activity
- Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues
- Helping shape and grow a modern Lifetime Planning offering
This is a people focused role suited to someone who enjoys relationship building, communicating with empathy and becoming a trusted adviser over the long term.

- Qualified, with experience in Lifetime Planning or wider Private Client work

- Able to translate complex legal and financial concepts into clear, practical advice
