Senior Solicitor - Commercial Property - Somerset - 5+ Years PQE
Location: Somerset
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time or Part-time
Salary: £55,000 to £70,000 plus KPI linked bonus (highly competitive for the region)

A respected South West law firm is seeking a Senior Commercial Property Solicitor (5+ years' PQE) to join its growing team in either Yeovil or Bridgwater. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse client base, including agricultural businesses, commercial landlords and developers, within a supportive, collaborative and forward thinking environment.

The Role
You'll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters, including:

  • Commercial property acquisitions and disposals
  • Leasehold matters and landlord & tenant work
  • Development projects and associated documentation
  • Providing clear, pragmatic advice throughout transactions
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Developing your own client base through networking and business development
  • Working autonomously while contributing to the wider team


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • 5+ years' PQE in commercial property
  • Experience in agricultural property (advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach
  • Confidence in developing client relationships and supporting team growth
  • Ambition and enthusiasm for working within a small, expanding team
