Residential Property Lawyer - Yeovil - 6+ Years PQE
Location: Yeovil (hybrid working: 3 days office, 2 days from home)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with flexibility)
Salary: £60,000 to £75,000

A respected and long established regional law firm is seeking a Residential Property Lawyer with a minimum of 6 years' post qualification experience to join its thriving and well supported Residential Property team in either Yeovil. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a busy, high quality caseload within a collaborative, inclusive and forward thinking environment, supported by experienced Conveyancing Assistants and a wider remote team.

The Role
You'll be responsible for managing a varied residential property caseload from inception to completion, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Re mortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other professionals
  • Supervising and supporting junior team members where required
  • Contributing to departmental planning, business development and knowledge sharing
  • Supporting a collaborative and ambitious team culture
  • Maintaining high professional standards, compliance and client care


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive with:

  • Minimum 6 years' PQE in residential conveyancing
  • Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of the conveyancing process
  • Confidence managing a busy caseload independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial awareness and a goal oriented approach
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Motivation, organisation and a proactive mindset
  • Ability to work independently from a regional office while collaborating effectively with a wider remote team
  • Supervisory skills (desirable)
  • Proven business development and networking ability
  • A flexible, positive, team focused attitude
