Residential Property Lawyer - Bournemouth - 4+ Years PQE
Location: Bournemouth
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with some hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £55,000 to £70,000
A well established and progressive South West law firm is seeking a Residential Property Lawyer (4+ PQE) to join its busy and dedicated Land Law team in Bournemouth. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role within a high performing department, managing a full caseload and contributing to the continued growth of a respected regional practice.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to post completion, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Transfers of equity
- Remortgages
- New build and plot sales
- Title checks, reporting and drafting documentation
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other professionals
- Supervising junior lawyers and support staff where required
- Supporting a collaborative and ambitious team culture
- Maintaining high professional standards, compliance and time recording
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with:
- 4+ years' PQE in residential property and land law
- Strong technical knowledge and confidence managing a full caseload independently
- Excellent drafting, communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Motivation, organisation and a proactive mindset
- Experience supervising junior team members (desirable)
- Ability to network and contribute to business development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal IT systems
