Residential Development Associate - Bristol - NQ-5 Years PQE
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £60,000 to £80,000 (DOE)

A leading national firm is seeking an Associate to join its highly regarded Residential Development team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work with market leading developers on high value, complex residential development projects while progressing your career within a dynamic, ambitious and nationally recognised real estate practice.

The Role
You'll be responsible for managing and supporting a varied caseload of residential development matters, including:

  • Acting for major PLC and SME residential developers on national projects
  • Advising across the full development lifecycle - acquisition, affordable housing, build to rent/PRS, site set up, management structures and infrastructure agreements
  • Working on regeneration schemes, mixed use developments, logistics, student accommodation and large scale residential projects
  • Handling market leading transactional work across all real estate asset classes
  • Collaborating closely with real estate litigation, construction, planning, tax and plots/site set up teams
  • Supporting business development and contributing to the continued growth of the residential development practice


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a solicitor with:

  • Experience across a broad range of residential development matters
  • Strong technical skills and commercial awareness
  • Ability to manage complex transactions and work across multiple sectors
  • Interest in residential development, regeneration and large scale projects
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Motivation to contribute to a high performing, nationally recognised team
  • NQ candidates with relevant experience will also be considered
