Partner - Corporate - Bristol
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £100,000 to £150,000

A respected law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Partner to join its growing Bristol office. This is a strategic hire for the firm, offering the opportunity to play a key role in expanding its corporate offering within the region. The ideal candidate will bring an established network or demonstrable ability to generate work, with the confidence to lead, develop and grow a high performing team.

The Role
You'll be responsible for leading and developing the corporate practice, including:

  • Managing and supervising a broad range of corporate transactions
  • Advising on M&A, private equity, joint ventures, restructures and shareholder arrangements
  • Driving business development and contributing to the strategic growth of the Bristol office
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships across multiple sectors
  • Collaborating with colleagues across commercial, employment, real estate and disputes teams
  • Providing leadership, mentoring and support to junior lawyers
  • Ensuring high professional standards, compliance and quality of service


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a senior corporate lawyer with:

  • 2-5 years' experience at partner level or ready for partnership
  • A following or strong network within the Bristol/South West market (ideal but not essential)
  • Proven ability to generate and develop client relationships
  • Strong technical knowledge across corporate transactions
  • Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, commercial and strategic mindset
  • Confidence managing complex matters independently
  • Motivation to contribute to the growth of a developing office
