Family Lawyer (4+ PQE) - North Devon

We are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a highly regarded Legal 500-ranked, multi-office regional law firm with an excellent reputation across the South West.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and successful Private Family team undertaking high-quality work for a broad client base. The role offers a strong emphasis on matrimonial finance matters, alongside a varied caseload of private family work.

Role

  • Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters including divorce, separation, cohabitation disputes and private children matters.
  • Advising clients on financial remedy proceedings, including complex, high-value and multi-asset cases.
  • Handling pre and post-nuptial agreements and broader relationship breakdown matters.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional client care.
  • Supervising and supporting junior members of the team where appropriate.
  • Playing an active role in the continued growth and profile of the Family department.
  • Keeping up to date with developments in Family Law and contributing to the team's ongoing success.


Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 4+ years' PQE in Family Law.
  • Strong experience handling private family matters, particularly financial remedy work.
  • Experience advising on children matters would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Able to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding client service.
  • Keen to be involved in business development and the future growth of the department.
