Family Lawyer - Barnstaple - 4+ Years PQE
Location: Barnstaple
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £55,000 to £75,000 (DOE)
A well established and fast growing Devon based law firm is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer (4+ PQE) to join its highly regarded Private Family team in North Devon. This is an excellent opportunity to take on high quality private family work within a dynamic, ambitious and Legal 500 recognised department.
The Role
You'll manage a varied caseload of private family matters, including:
- Matrimonial finance cases, including high value and multi asset matters
- Divorce and separation
- Cohabitation and relationship breakdown
- Private children law
- Pre and post nuptial agreements
- Advising clients with clarity, sensitivity and commercial awareness
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Contributing to the growth and profile of the department
- Supervising junior fee earners and supporting team development
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor or legal executive with:
- 4+ years' PQE in family law
- Strong technical expertise in financial remedy and private children matters
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach
- Confidence managing complex matters independently
- A commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Interest in marketing, networking and contributing to departmental growth
