Employment Solicitor - Bath
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded South West law firm, recognised for providing practical, commercially focused advice and building long-standing client relationships.
You'll work as part of a collaborative team of Employment Solicitors and HR Consultants, providing clients with joined-up advice that reflects both the legal position and the realities of running a business.
Working closely with senior colleagues, you'll advise a broad range of clients, including established regional businesses, growing companies, senior executives and directors across a variety of sectors.
The work is both varied and interesting, covering:
- Day-to-day employment law advice
- Workplace disputes and contentious matters
- Restructures and organisational change
- TUPE transfers
- Executive appointments and exits
- Business protection and restrictive covenant issues
- HR and people-related challenges
- Strategic employment and risk management advice
As part of a close-knit team, you'll enjoy direct client contact, meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and direction of the practice. You'll also be encouraged to get involved in networking, marketing and business development activities to further develop your profile.
Candidate Requirements
- Be a qualified Solicitor with employment law experience
- Have experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Enjoy building strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be confident managing your own workload and taking ownership of matters
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Have an interest in business development and growing your professional network
