Construction Associate - Bristol - 2-6 Years PQE

Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £75,000 to £95,000 (DOE)
A highly regarded national firm is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Construction Associate to join its leading non contentious construction team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on major national infrastructure and development projects while developing your own practice within a progressive, expanding team.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing and supporting a varied caseload of non contentious construction matters, including:
- Advising on major UK infrastructure projects across energy, renewables, social infrastructure, regeneration and commercial development
- Drafting and negotiating complex construction contracts (bespoke and industry standard forms)
- Providing procurement advice and legal project management support
- Working closely with contentious construction, major projects, energy, real estate, banking and project finance teams
- Acting for leading clients including developers, housebuilders, funders, energy companies and national infrastructure bodies
- Supporting the continued growth of the non contentious construction practice
- Managing matters across multiple sectors including commercial, residential, mixed use, logistics and industrial
- Contributing to business development and sector focused initiatives
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- Experience in non contentious construction work (training contract seat or post qualification)
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Versatility across a range of project types and sectors
- Interest in energy, renewables, infrastructure or UK development work
- Strong project management skills and ability to handle complex matters
- Motivation to contribute to sector growth and develop specialist expertise
- Excellent communication and collaborative working style
