Commercial Property Litigation Associate - Dorset - 4-5 Years PQE
Location: Dorset
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with flexible hybrid working)
Salary: £65,000 to £75,000

A respected regional law firm is seeking a Commercial Property Litigation Associate with around 4-5 years' post qualification experience to join its highly successful and growing Commercial Property Litigation team in Dorset. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied, high quality caseload of commercial property disputes while playing a key role in supporting the firm's wider growth strategy.

The Role
You'll be responsible for managing a broad range of commercial property litigation matters, including:

  • Commercial property disputes including breach of lease, rent arrears and forfeiture
  • Breach of covenant disputes, dilapidations claims and commercial lease disputes
  • Business lease renewals
  • Easements and rights of way disputes
  • Adverse possession claims
  • Party wall and boundary disputes
  • Landlord and tenant disputes
  • Farming partnership disputes
  • Property ownership disputes (including TOLATA)
  • Liaising with clients, agents and other professionals
  • Supporting a collaborative, ambitious and growth focused team culture
  • Maintaining high professional standards and compliance


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • 4-5 years' PQE in commercial property litigation (guide only)
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience across a broad range of property disputes
  • Excellent communication, client management and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions focused approach
  • Confidence managing matters independently
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Motivation, organisation and a growth mindset
  • Strong business development and networking skills
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and contribute to team success
  • A collaborative, team focused attitude and appreciation for a supportive firm culture
