Claimant Personal Injury Paralegal
Bristol (Hybrid)
£23,000 - £30,000
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join a busy claimant injury team in Bristol.
This role will involve managing your own caseload of personal injury claims, including cases involving vulnerable road users such as cyclists, pedestrians and motorcyclists, as well as minor to moderate head injury claims.
You will be responsible for progressing claims valued up to £25,000 through both the MOJ Portal and non-Portal routes, handling matters at both pre- and post-litigation stages. The role offers exposure to the full lifecycle of a claim, including issuing proceedings, complying with court directions and progressing matters through to trial where required.
Key responsibilities include managing your own caseload efficiently, maintaining excellent client relationships, liaising with insurers, solicitors and expert witnesses, attending risk assessment meetings, and ensuring compliance with service standards and deadlines.
The successful candidate will have previous experience handling a claimant personal injury caseload and a strong understanding of MOJ Portal processes. Experience handling Fast Track matters and litigation is essential, along with excellent organisation, communication and case management skills.
Candidates should be proactive, client-focused and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The role offers hybrid working, with 2 days per week in the Bristol office and 3 days working from home.
