Associate or Senior Associate - Residential Development - Bristol - Hybrid

A leading and progressive law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Development Solicitor at Senior Associate level or above to join its highly regarded Real Estate team in Bristol.

This opportunity offers the chance to work alongside recognised specialists on a broad range of high-quality residential development matters for regional and national housebuilders, developers, landowners, and affordable housing providers. The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative and ambitious team that combines exceptional technical expertise with a strong commercial approach.

The role will involve advising on residential development acquisitions and disposals, strategic land projects, affordable housing transactions, and a wide variety of development-related matters. The successful individual will be encouraged to build client relationships, contribute to business development initiatives, and play an active role in the continued growth of the practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising developers, landowners and housing providers on residential development acquisitions, disposals and strategic land transactions.
  • Handling promotion agreements, option agreements, conditional contracts, overage arrangements and associated development matters.
  • Managing title investigations, easements, tenancies and other complex real estate issues linked to development projects.
  • Supporting client relationship management, business development activity and the mentoring of junior team members.
