Associate or Senior Associate - Planning - Bristol - Hybrid

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join a highly regarded and rapidly growing Planning team. Acting on some of the most significant development projects across the UK, the successful candidate will become part of a multidisciplinary group of planning specialists, working alongside lawyers, consultants and advocates to deliver practical, commercial solutions for a diverse client base.

This is an excellent opportunity for a planning lawyer who enjoys complex, high-profile work and is looking to develop their career within a supportive, ambitious and collaborative environment. The role offers exposure to a broad range of development sectors, advising clients from the earliest stages of a project through to implementation and delivery.

Working closely with experienced colleagues across multiple offices, the successful candidate will play a key role in helping clients navigate planning challenges and unlock development opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising on planning law, highways matters and related statutory frameworks
  • Negotiating and drafting Section 106, highways and other infrastructure agreement
  • Supporting property and corporate transactions through planning due diligence
  • Assisting with planning appeals, inquiries, judicial reviews and other contentious matters
  • Building strong client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the team
