Agricultural Litigation Lawyer - Bristol
Outstanding opportunity for an Agricultural Litigation Lawyer to join a Top 100 UK law firm and one of Bristol's leading Legal 500-ranked practices.
Our client is home to one of the country's most respected Agriculture and Rural Affairs teams, acting for an impressive portfolio of landowners, estates, farmers, trustees, charities and public sector bodies. Due to continued growth, the team is looking to recruit an Agricultural Litigation Lawyer to join its highly regarded Dispute Resolution practice.
The Role
You will undertake a varied and interesting caseload of contentious agricultural and rural property matters, working alongside recognised experts in the field and advising clients on:
- Agricultural tenancy disputes
- Rural property and landed estate disputes
- Farming partnership issues
- Contentious trust and probate matters with a rural focus
- Landownership and occupation disputes
- Specialist agricultural and estate-related litigation
This is an excellent opportunity to develop a niche specialism within a market-leading team whilst gaining exposure to high-profile clients and complex, high-value matters from the outset.
Candidate Requirements
Applications are welcome from Solicitors with 1+ PQE gained within agricultural litigation, rural property disputes or a broader property litigation background.
The firm is also keen to hear from strong Newly Qualified Solicitors who can demonstrate relevant experience, a genuine passion for agricultural law and a desire to build a long-term career within this specialist sector.
You will possess:
- Experience in litigation, ideally with exposure to property or rural disputes
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship abilities
- A genuine interest in the agricultural and rural sector
- The ability to manage a varied workload and work collaboratively within a highly regarded team
