Trade Mark Attorney - Intellectual Property - Bristol - 1-6 Years' PQE
Location: Bristol

Salary: £95,000 to £165,000 (dependent on experience)

The Role

You will advise on a broad mix of UK, EU and international trade mark matters. Your work will include developing brand clearance and protection strategies, managing trade mark prosecution and global portfolios, and handling contentious matters such as oppositions, invalidity and revocation actions. You will also support clients with enforcement work and online brand protection programmes, while working closely with partners and colleagues across the wider IP practice to deliver commercially focused, pragmatic advice to high profile clients.

Candidate Requirements

This position is suited to a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney with 1-6 years' PQE and proven experience advising on UK and EU trade mark matters. You should bring strong academic credentials, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters and portfolios confidently. A commercial, pragmatic approach to client service is essential, along with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse, inclusive team. You should also be comfortable building professional relationships and contributing to business development within a growing international brands practice.
