Supervising / Managing Associate - Fund Finance - Bristol (4+ PQE)
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £110,000 - £145,000 (depending on experience)
A market leading Funds Finance practice is seeking a Supervising or Managing Associate (4+ PQE) to join its growing Bristol team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work within one of the strongest fund finance practices in the UK, advising on innovative and complex financing structures for leading financial institutions, asset managers and sponsors.
The Role
You'll be responsible for advising on a broad range of fund finance transactions, including:
- Capital call facilities
- NAV facilities
- Hybrid facilities
- GP and management fee facilities
- Co invest facilities
- Continuation vehicle financings
- Bespoke fund related lending structures
You will work closely with partners and senior colleagues, taking on significant responsibility from day one. The role includes managing transactions, supervising junior lawyers, building trusted client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives. You will play a key role in shaping the next phase of the practice's strategic growth.
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- Minimum 4+ years' PQE with strong experience in fund finance
- Experience acting for lenders and/or sponsors/borrowers
- Strong understanding of fund structures and partnership documentation
- Excellent technical, drafting and transactional management skills
- Confidence running matters with appropriate supervision
- Strong client relationship skills and commercial awareness
- Demonstrable interest in business development and practice growth
- Experience supervising junior lawyers (advantageous)
- Ambition, proactivity and enthusiasm for contributing to a fast growing team
