Solicitor / Legal Executive - Private Client - Somerset - 3+ Years' Experience

Salary: £45,000 to £65,000
A well established regional law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join its busy and highly regarded team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload of wills, probate, trusts, tax and estate administration matters within a supportive, collaborative environment known for exceptional client care.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing a diverse and high quality caseload, including:
- Drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney
- Advising on trusts, tax, probate and estate administration
- Handling a broad range of private client matters efficiently and effectively
- Attending clients at home or agreed locations when required
- Progressing matters in line with service level agreements using the case management system
- Delivering a profitable contribution through personal fee earning and meeting time/billing targets
- Providing compassionate, sensitive support to elderly or vulnerable clients
- Collaborating with colleagues across practice areas to deliver holistic advice
- Conducting legal research and keeping up to date with legislative changes
- Maintaining high quality file management and compliance standards
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a Private Client specialist with:
- Experience across Wills, Powers of Attorney, trusts, probate and tax matters
- Strong client care skills and the ability to build long term relationships
- A compassionate, professional approach, particularly with elderly or incapacitated clients
- Excellent drafting, organisation and communication skills
- Confidence managing a varied caseload independently
- A proactive, flexible mindset and commitment to high professional standards
- Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team
