Solicitor or Associate - Public Law - Cardiff - Hybrid
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an Associate Solicitor to join a nationally recognised Insurance & Public Risk team, advising on complex public, regulatory and health law matters. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile cases at the intersection of healthcare, regulation and emerging technologies.
The successful candidate will join a highly respected team of specialist lawyers advising NHS bodies, independent healthcare providers, regulatory authorities and organisations operating within the life sciences sector. The work is varied, intellectually stimulating and at the forefront of regulatory developments, including medicines, medical devices, novel technologies and AI.
The role will involve:
- Advising on public law, health law and regulatory matters
- Conducting and defending judicial review proceedings
- Drafting pre-action correspondence, pleadings and court documentation
- Supporting clients with information law matters, including FOIA, DPA and EIR
- Advising healthcare and life sciences organisations on complex regulatory issues
This opportunity would suit a solicitor with experience in public law, regulatory law or healthcare-related matters. Experience working with NHS organisations, government bodies, regulators or other public sector clients would be advantageous.
