Solicitor - South Wales - Hybrid

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a recently qualified Solicitor to join a well-established and highly regarded Medical Negligence team. Based within a supportive and collaborative environment, the successful candidate will play a key role in assisting individuals who have suffered as a result of negligent medical treatment, delivering clear, compassionate and commercially focused advice throughout the claims process.

This position offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload of medical negligence matters while working alongside experienced specialists on complex and high-value claims. The role is ideally suited to a Solicitor looking to develop their expertise within a dedicated claimant-focused team and progress their legal career.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a caseload of medical negligence claims with appropriate supervision
  • Assisting on complex and high-value cases from investigation through to resolution
  • Liaising with clients, medical experts, counsel and healthcare providers
  • Drafting legal documents and preparing matters for settlement negotiations and court proceedings
  • Building strong client relationships and contributing to the growth and success of the team


The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with up to three years' post-qualification experience and exposure to medical negligence, personal injury or litigation work. Strong client care skills, attention to detail and excellent organisation are essential.
