Solicitor - Procurement Litigation - NQ-3 Years PQE - Bristol
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (hybrid working with full flexibility)
Salary: £55,000 to £75,000 (depending on experience and location)

A leading national commercial law firm is seeking a Solicitor (NQ-3 PQE) to join its highly regarded Procurement Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a top-ranked department advising major corporates, central government, local authorities and NHS bodies on complex procurement and commercial disputes. The Role
You'll be responsible for supporting and managing a varied caseload of procurement and commercial disputes, including:

  • Contentious procurement matters and High Court litigation
  • Procurement risk management and advisory work
  • Judicial review
  • Complex IT and infrastructure disputes
  • Claims for injunctive relief
  • Corporate litigation (including breach of warranty and shareholder disputes)
  • Contentious IP
  • Defamation and harassment matters
  • Breach of confidentiality claims
  • Commercial contract disputes
  • Professional negligence claims
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across commercial, corporate and public law litigation
  • Supporting a collaborative and ambitious team culture
  • Maintaining high professional standards and compliance


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • NQ-3 years PQE in commercial dispute resolution or public law litigation
  • Some knowledge of (or keenness to learn) procurement law, including the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and Procurement Act 2023
  • Strong drafting skills and legal analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Confidence working directly with clients
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and intermediaries
  • Strong organisation and project management skills
  • A practical and commercial approach
  • Motivation, enthusiasm and a proactive mindset
  • A genuine interest in business development
