Solicitor - Contentious Probate - Bristol - Hybrid
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and technically strong Contentious Probate Solicitor to join a highly regarded private wealth disputes team in Bristol. This role offers the chance to work on complex, high-value and often sensitive disputes while developing a long-term career within a collaborative and progressive legal environment.
The successful candidate will handle a broad range of contentious trusts and probate matters, acting for individuals, families, executors, trustees and beneficiaries. Working alongside recognised specialists, they will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service while contributing to the continued growth and success of the team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of contentious probate and trust disputes
- Advising on Inheritance Act claims, will validity challenges and proprietary estoppel matters
- Handling executor, trustee and Court of Protection disputes
- Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
- Supporting business development and raising the profile of the practice
This position is ideal for a solicitor with strong litigation experience and a genuine interest in private wealth disputes. The team enjoys an excellent reputation for handling complex and high-quality work, including matters with cross-border elements.
