Senior Associate - Contentious Trusts & Estates - Bristol

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contentious Trusts & Estates Solicitor to join the firm's growing Bristol team.
You'll work closely with recognised specialists, advising a diverse client base that includes high-net-worth individuals, trustees, executors, charities, business owners, farmers and landed estates. The work is varied, high quality and often involves complex and sensitive disputes.
Typical matters include:
- Challenges to the validity of wills
- Inheritance Act claims
- Trustee and executor disputes
- Trust litigation
- Professional negligence claims linked to estate and trust administration
- High-value and technically complex private wealth disputes
This role offers significant responsibility from the outset, regular client contact and the chance to become an integral part of a highly respected private wealth disputes practice.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 7 years' PQE in Contentious Trusts & Estates or a related private wealth disputes practice.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience handling complex matters with minimal supervision.
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to dispute resolution.
- A demonstrable interest in networking, business development and profile raising.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A collaborative and ambitious approach with a desire to contribute to the growth of the team.
