Rural Property Lawyer (2+ PQE) - Taunton

The Role

An exciting opportunity for a Solicitor or FCILEx to join a growing Rural Property team in Taunton. This role offers the chance to help develop the firm's rural offering locally, with genuine scope to build and lead the practice over time.

You'll advise a broad range of clients including farmers, landowners, estates, trusts, rural businesses, developers and private individuals on matters including:

  • Farm, estate and agricultural land sales and acquisitions
  • Agricultural and farm business tenancies
  • Strategic land and development projects
  • Renewable energy schemes
  • Easements, rights of way and property rights
  • Estate management and diversification projects


Candidate Requirements

  • Solicitor or FCILEx with 2+ years' PQE
  • Experience in Rural Property, Agricultural Law, Commercial Property or a related practice area
  • Strong technical and commercial skills
  • Ability to build lasting client and referrer relationships
  • Genuine interest in the rural and agricultural sector
