Residential Property Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive (3+ PQE)
Bristol or Somerset
Competitive salary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a growing and well-established Residential Property team.
Due to a significant increase in new instructions, the firm is looking to recruit an experienced conveyancer to handle a broad range of residential property matters while working closely with senior lawyers within a supportive and client-focused environment.
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion, including:
  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Remortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • First registrations
  • General residential property matters

In addition to managing your own caseload, you will assist with the supervision and development of junior team members and play an active role in the continued growth of the department through networking and business development activities.

The role involves regular client contact and would suit someone who enjoys building strong relationships and delivering a high standard of client care. You will be supported by experienced administrative and cashiering teams, allowing you to focus on providing practical and efficient advice to clients.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' PQE within residential conveyancing
  • Experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
  • Strong knowledge of residential property transactions from instruction to completion
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • A proactive and collaborative approach
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development, including AML training

Applicants should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team and have a genuine interest in contributing to the future growth of the department.

A full driving licence is required, and the successful candidate should be willing to participate in occasional Saturday property clinics on a rota basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Property Lawyer seeking high-quality work, strong career development prospects and a supportive team environment.
