Project Finance Lawyer - Bristol

A highly respected UK law firm is looking to add a Project Finance Lawyer to its growing finance practice.

This opportunity offers exposure to a broad mix of financing work across the energy, infrastructure and wider projects sectors. You'll work alongside experienced lawyers on complex, high-value transactions while taking an active role in managing matters and developing client relationships.

The team advises a diverse client base including lenders, investors, developers, sponsors and public sector organisations on financing arrangements that support major projects throughout the UK and beyond.

You can expect to be involved in:

  • Project finance and structured finance transactions
  • Acquisition and development financings
  • Refinancings and portfolio financings
  • Energy and infrastructure projects
  • Renewable energy and energy transition work
  • Transaction management, negotiation and drafting
  • Direct client contact and business development activity


Candidate Requirements

  • 3-6 years' PQE gained within a recognised banking, finance or project finance team
  • Experience advising on finance transactions, ideally with exposure to project or infrastructure finance
  • Strong technical and drafting skills
  • Confidence managing workstreams and building relationships with clients
  • An interest in the energy, infrastructure and projects sectors
