Private Client Solicitor - Solihull
Level 2-5 PQE
Overview
Long established Solihull firm seeks a private client solicitor to join their busy and growing department. You should have 2 - 5 years' PQE in private client and be confident handling matters independently, including high-value and more complex estates, while providing clear, practical advice and a high level of client care.
Responsibilities
- Managing a broad caseload of private client matters, including wills, probate and estate administration
- Advising on estate planning, inheritance tax mitigation and trusts
- Preparing wills, lasting powers of attorney, deeds of variation, gifts and family arrangements
- Obtaining grants of probate and dealing with the administration of estates
- Preparing estate accounts and supporting legal and financial documentation
- Advising on the creation and administration of trusts and Deputyship Orders
- Corresponding with the Probate Registry, Land Registry, Office of the Public Guardian, solicitors and other third parties
- Dealing with new enquiries, including more complex matters
- Providing excellent client service and building strong professional relationships
About you
- 2-5 years' PQE in Wills, Probate and Estate Administration
- Experience handling a broad range of Private Client matters
- Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, estate planning and powers of attorney
- Excellent communication, drafting and client care skills
- A professional, approachable and empathetic manner when dealing with clients
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to the wider team
