Private Client Senior Associate/Partner - Salisbury
A well-established and highly regarded regional law firm with a strong presence across Wiltshire is seeking an experienced Private Client lawyer to join its Wills, Probate & Estate Planning team at either the Senior Associate or Partner level. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior leadership role within a respected practice.
The Role
You'll join a well-resourced Private Client team that advises individuals, families and business owners on a wide range of estate planning and succession matters. As a senior member of the team, you'll play an important role in both the continued growth of the department and the development of the firm's private client offering.
In this role, you will:
- Handle a broad caseload of Wills, Probate, Estate Planning, Trust and tax planning matters
- Advise on complex estate administration, succession planning and wealth protection strategies
- Support clients with Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection and long-term care planning matters
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, intermediaries and professional contacts
- Mentor and support junior team members, sharing technical knowledge and encouraging development
- Contribute to business development initiatives and help drive the continued growth of the department
About You
You will ideally have:
- Significant experience in Wills, Probate, Trusts, Estate Planning and Tax Planning matters
- The ability to manage complex and high-value private client work
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills
- Experience developing and maintaining a loyal client base
- A collaborative leadership style and enthusiasm for mentoring others
- Commercial awareness and a desire to contribute to the growth of the wider practice
- STEP qualification or working towards STEP accreditation would be advantageous
