Private Client Lawyer
Location: Gloucestershire
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join a well-established and Legal 500 ranked law firm in their Cheltenham office.
The firm acts for a broad range of individuals, families, business owners and high-net-worth clients, providing trusted advice across a range of private client matters. The successful candidate will join a supportive and collaborative team with an excellent reputation in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of private client matters, including:
- Wills and estate planning
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Probate and estate administration
- Trust creation and administration
- Inheritance Tax and succession planning
- Court of Protection matters (desirable)
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional referrers
- Supporting business development and networking activities
- Contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the team
About You
We are keen to hear from qualified Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives or experienced fee earners with a proven background in private client work.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience handling a broad range of private client matters
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A client-focused approach with the ability to build lasting relationships
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- An interest in business development and profile-raising activities
The level of appointment is flexible and will be determined by the successful candidate's experience and expertise. Applications are welcomed from Associate, Senior Associate, and Partner-level candidates.
