Private Client Lawyer - Somerset
A well-established and highly regarded Somerset law firm with multiple offices across the region is looking to recruit a Private Client Lawyer into its busy and successful team.

You will handle a varied caseload of private client matters, building lasting relationships with individuals and families while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
You will manage a broad range of private client matters, including:
- Wills and estate planning
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Probate and estate administration
- Trust matters
- Inheritance tax and succession planning
- Elderly and vulnerable client advice
You will be responsible for running your own caseload, delivering exceptional client service, attending clients both in the office and at home where required, and working closely with colleagues to provide well-rounded legal advice. The role offers a good level of autonomy while being supported by an experienced and approachable team.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Private Client Fee Earner
- Experience handling Wills, LPAs, Probate, Trusts and Tax matters
- Strong technical knowledge across core private client work
- Excellent client care and relationship-building skills
- Compassionate and sensitive approach, particularly when advising elderly or vulnerable clients
- Well-organised with the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
