Partner - Corporate - Bristol

Salary: £80,000 to £120,000 + partner level package
A respected regional practice is seeking an experienced Corporate Partner to join its Bristol office. This is a strategic appointment for the firm, offering the opportunity to play a key role in expanding and strengthening its corporate offering across the South West.
The ideal candidate will bring an established network or demonstrable ability to generate work, with a following being highly advantageous. You will have the confidence to lead, develop and grow a high performing team while maintaining a strong personal fee earning contribution.
The Role
- Leading and developing the corporate practice within the Bristol office
- Managing and supervising a broad range of corporate transactions
- Advising on M&A, private equity, joint ventures, restructures and shareholder arrangements
- Driving business development and contributing to strategic growth
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships across multiple sectors
- Collaborating with colleagues across commercial, employment, real estate and disputes teams
- Providing leadership, mentoring and support to junior lawyers
- Ensuring high professional standards, compliance and quality of service
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a senior corporate lawyer with:
- Significant experience at partner level or ready for partnership
- A following or strong network within the Bristol/South West market (ideal but not essential)
- Proven ability to generate and develop client relationships
- Strong technical knowledge across corporate transactions
- Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, commercial and strategic mindset
- Confidence managing complex matters independently
- Motivation to contribute to the growth of a developing office
