New Homes Conveyancing Lawyer - Taunton
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated conveyancer to join the growing New Homes team of a well-established Top 200 UK law firm with a strong reputation across the South West. This role offers a fantastic pathway for a lawyer looking to develop specialist expertise within the new homes and development sector. No previous new homes experience is required, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to broaden their skillset and take the next step in their career.
The Role
Joining a specialist and expanding team in Taunton, you will play a key role in supporting purchasers of new build properties from a range of national and regional developers.
You will receive comprehensive one-to-one training and support in all aspects of new homes conveyancing, including:
- Reviewing titles, planning documentation and development searches
- Raising and resolving site-wide enquiries
- Preparing detailed development reports and precedent documentation
- Advising clients on the purchase of new build properties
- Managing matters from instruction through to completion
- Building strong relationships with clients, developers and introducers
This is an excellent opportunity to gain specialist expertise within a growing practice area under the guidance of highly experienced lawyers.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or experienced Conveyancer
- Up to 5 years' PQE, although applications from other levels of experience will be considered
- Background in residential conveyancing
- Keen to develop a specialism in New Homes and Development work
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and client care abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
