New Homes Conveyancing Lawyer - Taunton (0-5 PQE)
Location: Taunton
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious conveyancer to join a growing New Homes team in Taunton. This role offers genuine career development, specialist training and the chance to build expertise in a niche and expanding area of residential development work.

The Role
You'll be responsible for supporting purchasers of new build plots from a range of developers, with full one to one training provided in:

  • Reviewing title, planning documentation and development searches
  • Raising suitable site wide enquiries
  • Preparing a master site precedent report for use across individual plot purchases


You will work closely with the Head of Department, a highly experienced development specialist, and become part of a supportive, collegiate team with clear progression opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancer keen to specialise in new homes and development work.

Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor, legal executive or licensed conveyancer with:

  • Up to 5 years' PQE (applications from all levels considered)
  • Background in residential conveyancing
  • Interest in developing a specialism in new homes and development work
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and client care abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a supportive team
  • Enthusiasm for learning and career progression
