Medical Negligence Solicitor
Location: Cardiff

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a nationally recognised medical negligence practice at one of the UK's leading law firms. Ranked highly in both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, the team is renowned for handling complex, high-value claims and delivering exceptional outcomes for clients and their families.

As part of the team's continued expansion, they are looking to recruit a solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' PQE to join their Cardiff office. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise within a supportive and collaborative environment, working closely with specialists recognised as leaders in their field.

The Role
You will have responsibility for your own claimant clinical negligence caseload, whilst also supporting senior lawyers on complex and often life-changing cases.
The team's work spans a broad spectrum of medical negligence matters, including:

  • Birth injury and obstetric negligence claims
  • Delayed diagnosis and misdiagnosis cases
  • Fatal claims and inquest-related matters
  • Neurological and spinal injury claims
  • Oncology, cardiac and psychiatric negligence cases
  • Severe and catastrophic injury litigation

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in Clinical Negligence
  • Strong experience acting for claimants
  • Ability to manage your own caseload, including litigated matters
  • Experience supporting on complex and high-value claims
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Compassionate and client-focused approach
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team
