Litigation Solicitor / Associate - Agricultural Disputes - Bristol
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Litigation Solicitor or Associate to join a highly regarded Top 100 UK law firm with a strong reputation across the South West and beyond. The firm is consistently recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, with its Agricultural Litigation team ranked Band 1 for the quality of its work and sector expertise.
Working as part of a collaborative and well-established team, you will advise farmers, landowners and rural businesses on a broad range of complex and high-value disputes whilst benefiting from excellent support, high-quality work and genuine career progression opportunities.
The Role
- Manage a varied caseload of agricultural and rural litigation matters.
- Advise farmers, landowners and agri-business clients on a wide range of disputes.
- Become involved in partnership disputes, inheritance-related litigation, agricultural property matters, contractual disputes, negligence claims and nuisance matters.
- Assist senior lawyers on complex, high-profile cases while taking responsibility for your own matters.
- Build expertise within the agricultural sector and develop long-term client relationships.
- Work closely with colleagues across the wider agriculture and litigation teams to deliver a seamless client service.
- Participate in networking and business development activities within the rural community.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with approximately 2-5 years' PQE.
- Strong litigation background, ideally including property litigation experience.
- Agricultural or rural sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Confident building relationships with clients, referrers and professional contacts.
- Commercially aware with an interest in contributing to business development and team growth.
