German Document Review Lawyer / Paralegal
Remote (UK-Based)
£25 - £37 per hour
An exciting opportunity is anticipated for fluent German-speaking Lawyers and Paralegals to join a large-scale document review project supporting a significant investigation.
Whilst the project is still awaiting final approval, the client is keen to review suitable CVs immediately. There is also the potential for this assignment to develop into a longer-term project.
The successful candidates will work remotely as part of a specialist review team, reviewing German-language documents and assisting with investigation and disclosure exercises. More experienced candidates may also undertake quality control responsibilities and support the wider case team with review decisions.
Responsibilities may include:
- Reviewing and analysing German-language documents
- Conducting first-pass review and coding documents in accordance with review protocols
- Performing quality control reviews of coding decisions
- Creating and executing searches within Relativity
- Identifying key documents and escalating issues where appropriate
- Clearly explaining and defending coding decisions to the wider legal team when required
- Maintaining high levels of accuracy and consistency throughout the review process
Candidates must have:
- Fluency in both German and English
- Previous document review experience
- Strong Relativity experience
- The ability to work remotely from within the UK
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- The client is interested in speaking with both qualified lawyers and experienced paralegals who have worked on investigations, disputes, regulatory matters or large-scale disclosure exercises.
