Employment Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) - Cheltenham

The Role
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to become the first dedicated Employment PSL within a highly regarded Employment team.
As the team's knowledge specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and developing its know-how strategy, ensuring lawyers have access to the resources, training, and technical support needed to deliver exceptional client service.
Working closely with partners and fee earners across the practice, you'll be responsible for monitoring legal developments, maintaining precedents, creating training materials, delivering technical updates, and supporting best practice across the team.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced PSL seeking their next challenge, or an Employment Lawyer looking to move into a knowledge-focused role.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with significant Employment Law experience.
- Existing Employment PSL, or an Employment Lawyer currently working within a firm that has an established PSL structure and understands how a knowledge function operates.
- Strong technical employment law knowledge and a genuine interest in legal developments.
- Experience drafting or maintaining precedents, guidance notes, training materials, or know-how resources.
- Excellent research, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic about innovation, continuous improvement, and sharing knowledge.
