Your work is likely to include:

  • Providing strategic employment law advice to UK and international clients.

  • Advising on senior executive appointments, exits, restrictive covenants, team moves and compensation arrangements.
  • Assisting clients with cross-border employment issues, global mobility programmes and international workforce management projects.

  • Advising on employee relations matters, grievances, disciplinary issues and workplace investigations.
  • Working closely with colleagues across multiple offices and practice areas on multidisciplinary matters.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • At least 2 years' PQE in employment law gained within a recognised commercial practice.
  • Strong experience advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
  • Experience handling complex tribunal claims and employment-related disputes.
  • Knowledge of restructuring, redundancy and employee relations issues.
  • Exposure to cross-border employment matters would be advantageous.
  • An interest in supporting M&A and outsourcing transactions from an employment perspective.
  • Excellent technical, drafting and analytical skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused advice.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
