Dispute Resolution Solicitor / Legal Executive - Dorset

A well-established Legal 500-recognised regional law firm with a strong reputation across Dorset and the South Coast is seeking an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its growing team in Bournemouth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven litigation lawyer to work on a varied and high-quality caseload while playing an active role in developing client relationships and supporting the continued growth of the department.

You will manage a broad caseload of civil litigation matters, with a particular focus on property litigation and landlord and tenant disputes. Responsibilities will include:

  • Advising clients on a range of dispute resolution and litigation matters.
  • Managing cases from instruction through to resolution.
  • Handling property-related disputes, landlord and tenant issues, and general civil litigation work.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate.
  • Developing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives, networking and marketing activities.


Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
  • Ideally 5+ years' PQE within dispute resolution or civil litigation.
  • Experience handling property litigation and landlord and tenant matters.
  • Strong technical and organisational skills with the ability to manage your own caseload.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Commercially aware and confident in business development activities.
