Court of Protection Solicitor - Northampton
Overview
Leading regional law firm has a vacancy for a Court of Protection Solicitor to join their busy and highly regarded team based in Northampton. You will work in a specialist team managing existing clients and building on the client base, covering all aspects of Court of Protection work.
Responsibilities
- Deputyship applications
- Ongoing management of clients' property and financial affairs
- Understanding a client's financial position and what care funding or benefits they are entitled to
- Safeguarding conversations
About you
- 18 months'+ experience in Court of Protection
- Knowledge of the benefits and care system
- Be comfortable and empathetic with vulnerable clients and difficult family situations
- Able to explain complex instructions in an easily understandable manner
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Professional and attentive telephone manner, coupled with strong interpersonal skills
