Corporate Knowledge Lawyer (5+ PQE)
Leading National Law Firm | Flexible Location

I am currently working with a highly regarded national law firm seeking an experienced Corporate Knowledge Lawyer to join its growing Corporate team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced corporate lawyer looking to move into a strategic knowledge, innovation and legal technology role while remaining closely connected to high-quality corporate practice. The position sits at the heart of a national team and offers the chance to influence how legal services are delivered through knowledge management, AI and process improvement initiatives.

The Opportunity

Working alongside an established knowledge function, you will play a pivotal role in supporting lawyers across the Corporate practice by developing precedents, delivering technical guidance, driving innovation and enhancing the firm's knowledge resources.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, maintaining and enhancing corporate precedents, know-how materials and automated document suites.
  • Providing technical legal support and guidance to lawyers across the Corporate team.
  • Delivering legal updates, training programmes and thought leadership content for colleagues and clients.
  • Capturing and analysing know-how from transactions to support continuous improvement and best practice.
  • Championing legal technology, document automation and AI initiatives across the practice.
  • Collaborating with knowledge, technology, digital and business development teams on innovation projects.
  • Supporting client development initiatives including pitches, tenders and client-facing legal resources.
  • Monitoring legal and market developments to identify new opportunities and enhance client service delivery.

Candidate Profile

This role is ideal for an experienced corporate lawyer who enjoys the technical aspects of practice and has a genuine interest in innovation and knowledge sharing.

The successful candidate is likely to demonstrate:

  • Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years' PQE in a strong corporate practice.
  • Excellent technical corporate law expertise and commercial awareness.
  • A strong interest in knowledge management, legal innovation and emerging AI technologies.
  • Experience with legal technology and/or document automation tools, although direct PSL experience is not essential.
  • Strong research, drafting, communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build trusted relationships across a business.
  • Enthusiasm for developing others and promoting best practice throughout a legal team.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

This role offers a compelling alternative career path for experienced corporate lawyers seeking to move away from a purely fee-earning position while remaining at the forefront of legal developments. You will have the opportunity to shape strategy, influence innovation, support the adoption of AI and technology, and contribute directly to the future direction of a successful national Corporate practice.

The position also offers significant flexibility, cross-functional collaboration and exposure to senior stakeholders across legal, technology and business development teams.
