An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Corporate Associate (2-4 PQE) to join a highly regarded and growing Corporate team in London.
This role offers the chance to work on a broad range of high-quality corporate transactions alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers, with direct client exposure from an early stage and genuine opportunities for progression.
The team advises a diverse client base, including founder-led businesses, high-growth companies, SMEs, private companies, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and investors across a range of sectors.
The Work
You'll have the opportunity to advise on:
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Venture Capital and Private Equity investments
- Equity fundraisings
- Joint ventures and shareholders' agreements
- Corporate reorganisations and restructurings
- Corporate governance matters
What You'll Be Doing
As part of a collaborative and ambitious team, you'll:
- Support partners and senior associates on a wide range of corporate transactions
- Manage due diligence processes, including reviewing and reporting on findings
- Draft and negotiate ancillary transaction documentation
- Assist with key transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, investment agreements and asset purchase agreements
- Prepare disclosure letters and manage signing and completion processes
- Supervise trainees and paralegals on transactions
- Build and strengthen client relationships through regular contact and business development activities
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the practice
About You
You'll be:
- A qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 2-4 years' PQE in corporate law gained within private practice
- Technically strong with excellent drafting skills
- Commercially minded and client focused
- Organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple transactions simultaneously
- A strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
- Ambitious and keen to develop your profile within a growing team
Desirable Experience
- Technology sector experience
- Health & Social Care sector experience
- Cross-border transactions involving inbound UK investment and acquisitions
