Conveyancing Paralegal / Licensed Conveyancer - Commercial Property

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal or Licensed Conveyancer to join a specialist Commercial Property team in Cardiff.

This role sits within a well-established plot sales team acting for housing associations and supporting a range of residential development transactions. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload while working closely with colleagues on a variety of plot sales and shared ownership matters.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of work, including:

  • Plot sales transactions
  • Shared ownership and shared equity matters
  • Buy-backs and staircasing transactions
  • Redemptions
  • New site set-up work
  • Drafting transfers and shared ownership leases
  • Client reporting and transaction management

You will be responsible for maintaining your own caseload, meeting client deadlines and ensuring housing association clients receive a consistently high level of service. The role also includes attending client meetings, producing reports, supporting colleagues during periods of absence and assisting with the training and development of new team members.

The successful candidate will have previous conveyancing experience and be comfortable managing files in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and excellent client care abilities are essential.

Candidates should possess:

  • Previous conveyancing experience
  • The ability to manage a caseload independently
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Strong administrative and IT skills
  • Experience prioritising workloads and meeting strict deadlines
  • A team-oriented and proactive approach

Experience of plot sales, shared ownership or housing association work would be advantageous, although candidates with strong residential conveyancing experience are also encouraged to apply.
