Conveyancing Lead - Swansea - 4+ Years' PQE
Location: Swansea (Hybrid)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + performance based bonus

A strong opportunity has arisen for an experienced residential conveyancer to lead and grow a Conveyancing team in Swansea. This role combines fee earning, team leadership, business development and strategic input, working closely with senior management to drive departmental performance and growth.

You will take ownership of a busy caseload, build relationships with local agents and brokers, and mentor junior team members while contributing to wider firm wide initiatives.

The Role
You will manage and develop a residential conveyancing offering, including:

  • Building and running a caseload of residential conveyancing matters
  • Winning work and developing relationships with local agents and brokers
  • Introducing new referral sources (advantageous but not essential)
  • Undertaking marketing and business development initiatives to promote the Swansea office
  • Mentoring and training junior team members
  • Working alongside senior leadership to implement strategic growth and performance improvements
  • Ensuring excellent client care, communication and consistent billings
  • Managing volume work independently and efficiently


Candidate Requirements
Applications are welcomed from:

  • Qualified Solicitors, Legal Executives or Licensed Conveyancers
  • Minimum 4 years' PQE
  • Strong residential conveyancing experience including: - Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases - New build matters - Transfers of equity - Shared ownership and shared equity - Remortgages
  • Ability to work without supervision and manage volume caseloads
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Previous management experience within a conveyancing team or department
  • Ability to be based in the Swansea office (minimum 4 days per week, 1 day WFH)
