Conveyancer - Swansea - 4+ Years' PQE
Location: Swansea (Hybrid)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £40,000
A busy and well established Conveyancing team in Swansea is seeking an experienced Conveyancer (4+ years' PQE) to join its growing department. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a substantial caseload, work autonomously across a full range of residential property matters, and contribute to the continued success of the team.
Hybrid working is available, with office presence required in Swansea.
The Role
You will manage a varied and fast paced caseload of approximately 100 files, completing around 20 matters per month. Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing proof and source of funds for file risk assessment sign off
- Receiving and responding to enquiries on sale files
- Raising enquiries on purchase matters
- Reviewing management packs, search results and mortgage offers and reporting to clients
- Reporting on legal title
- Handling all aspects of residential conveyancing including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
- Managing both freehold and leasehold transactions, including new builds, without supervision
- Using the firm's accounting system (training provided)
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and lender requirements
- Maintaining accurate case management records
- Delivering excellent client service and progressing matters efficiently
- A yearly bonus is payable.
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a Conveyancer with:
- Minimum 4 years' PQE
- Strong experience managing a busy residential conveyancing caseload
- Ability to work independently and handle complex matters without supervision
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence working in a high volume environment
- Ability to be based in the Swansea office
